Account & Data Deletion
How to request the deletion of your account and personal data.
Note: Account deletion is a permanent action. Once your account is deleted, all your personal data, order history, and preferences will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
How to Delete Your Account
We respect your privacy and give you full control over your data. If you wish to permanently delete your account from BiharShop, you can do so by following these steps:
- Log in to your account: Go to the user dashboard and navigate to your Profile Settings.
- Locate the Delete Account section: Scroll to the bottom of your profile page where you will find the "Delete Account" option.
- Confirm Deletion: You will be prompted to enter your password to confirm your identity. Once confirmed, your account will be queued for deletion.
Alternative Method (Manual Request)
If you cannot access your account or prefer us to handle the deletion, you can submit a manual request:
- Send an email to biharshopglb@gmail.com from your registered email address.
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
- Include your full name and registered phone number for verification.
Our support team will process your request and confirm the deletion within 3-5 business days.
What Data gets deleted?
Upon account deletion, the following data will be removed from our active databases:
- Personal identification details (Name, Email, Phone number)
- Saved addresses and payment preferences
- Order history and wishlists
- Active sessions and authentication tokens
Note: We may retain certain transactional records for legal and tax compliance purposes as required by law, but this data will be anonymized and disconnected from your personal identity.
